The Pastor's Heart

The Pastors want to equip people to believe that their destiny will be reached and teach them to believe in God even when family, or people around say that God won't do it.  We need to move into the future and not hold on to the past.

Ephesians 3:20 - "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us"

God can do anything, more than we can ever imagine.  Let the power of faith work in you.  To have faith is to believe God, trust him.

Mark 11:22 - "And Jesus answering saith unto thm, Have faith in God"

No one knows us better than God, our Creator.  The one who designed each of us.  Have faith in God's wisdom to direct our lives.

We should be focusing on moving on to maturity so that we can operate in the things that God has for us.

Hebrews 6:1 - "Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God"

Never push for things prematurely so that it won't destory you.  Don't allow the devil to bring discoragement in your time of waiting.  Love on God, worship him and plant seeds in the life of others, and other ministries.  The blessings that God has for you are already set in place.

Joshua 1:1-9 - Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,

2-Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.

3-Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.

4-From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.

5-There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

6-Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.

7-Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou myest prosper withersoever thou goest.

8-This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

9-Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

When God says, "YES" no one change God's "YES", but you!  It is going to take strength and courage to come over the enemy of your past, and the enemy of doubt.  The land is infested with enemies.  That is why it is important to remember that God told Joshua "It'll be with you where ever you go".  When God is with you, you already have the victory "if you faint not".  God knows your strength, weakness, and character, but yet he chose you.  "Chose" meaning called out, and set apart.  God has molded you, formed you and is shaping you daily to be like him, so don't try to be like anyone else.

To me the book of Joshua is about God wanting his people to cease from wondering in dry "deserted" places, so that we can embrace his promisesdevil has stolen.  We, the Christian people, must be the one's to storm the gates of hell and bring into the Kingdom the "harvest of souls".  Setting an example for the world to see .  God desires for us to take back everything we have lost to the devil; everything that belongs to us that the so they will fall to their knees and proclaim God's word.  We have a tremendous responsibility.
